Sacred and Deep
Tarot, as I know them, are the portals from where divine higher masters and wisdom approach us. They cannot be limited to some descriptions, explanations or definitions. The initiatory work of tarot consists of gathering together the fragments of your life until you find your originality and hence resolution. As you begin to learn them, you understand that they are far more than a simple divination system.
Tarot are scared and deep as ocean, every tiny detail, tiny as it may be, speaks to you and reveals higher truths about who you are. You must not look at one card when you approach tarot, they are complete union entity together. Their essence is unknown to many as they approach them to find answers of shallow questions. Yet, no matter how one-dimensional question you ask tarot, they are benevolent enough to yield you guidance in their own kind, subtle and mysterious way that points to your self-inquiry again.
You must understand that tarot is essentially a visual study of life and this is why there is no definitive, perfect form in any card. All cards are vague, abstract yet carrying hidden meaning as life.
Intuitive Tarot
When I initiated study of tarot, I understood that the tarot is sum-total of life, it represents the seeker’s mind and life both. Tarot revealed that it is a scared language of higher beings and every card is as deep and detailed as a scripture. If you look closely, the upper portion of any card is never identical to the lower, nor the left side to the right. There is always minute details breaking any resemblances. I totally believe that creator of tarot created them to teach us how to “see” from our intuitive eyes and thats what I remind to my students when I teach intuitive tarot in my classes. The focus is always not on memorizing the meaning of cards but to stimulate our psychic and intuitive abilities.
The intuitive tarot permits us to examine our subconscious mind, our survival self and also our higher-self. They refer to different degrees of what we are. For example you can ask the ordinary questions about life, questions about intellectual, psychological or material life and you can also ask the spiritual questions, universal human process, spiritual self-inquiry, self-diagnosis and also purpose of life. Tarot will provide you guidance about anything. But remember, tarot provides you guidance and not prediction.
Rare can truly decipher this art.
It is also true that only rare people truly understand and use this majestic science for its real value. If tarot calls your soul, remember that tarot is not a thing, It is not a goal, not a concept, not a tool to predict future or scare people of unknown. It is not something to be attained. It is truly a metamorphosis. A transformation that it brings in you. It is an effect universe casts upon you through its symbolic wisdom. Tarot is a metaphysical language about change, a change that your soul decides to bring inside you. It is not about trivial questions. It is not about forbidding you from something. If a tarot reader guides you to stop and not start something which you truly desire. You are dealing with a con.
If a tarot reader tells you not to follow your heart and puts fear in your mind. Your tarot reader requires to learn more about tarot. Such high wisdom doesn’t know how to fear or how to spread fear. Tarot is all about providing you all-compassing wisdom about your situation, enlightening you that you are the creator of your life and how you can change your life by changing your thoughts.
Mind you, there is not a single negative card in the deck. How it can be? How these spiritual masters disguised as cards can be even negative in nature? You can truly learn tarot only if you are operating from a place of love and not fear, from a place of non-judgment, sincerity, devotion, honesty and innocence. Higher wisdom only descends upon a pure heart and get spoken from a sacred throat. That does mean that you got to put your own beliefs , judgments, opinions and fears aside before you touch a deck and pray the absolute source to use you as a mere instrument.
Tarot cannot be read, they just speak through you.
These symbols awaken the God in you and take you higher from this linguistic society.
In this semantic society, we use words, sentences and phrases to talk to each other; language can help us to pretend, to present and even to defend ourselves. But in the world of tarot, there is no pretense, charade or defense as the absolute truth gets revealed and you have to be completely defenseless and vulnerable to receive it.
Tarot provides you an ocean of viewpoints and only a half-learnt tarologist takes thinking for believing and hence provides whimsical interpretations to the seeker. The tarot does not cure but yes it tells you how to cure. It does not predict any future but yes, it tells you where your thoughts and beliefs are leading you to and how you can create your future by changing your thoughts and actions. Tarot does not say “No” ever, it compels you to view the bigger picture about your situation. This knowledge makes the unconscious, conscious and takes you to a higher frequency to vibrate than the frequency of problem. Knowledge is the elixir for life.
No tarot reader can grant the absolute proof of their reading, they can only provide the personal version of their intuitive interpretation and most of the times, even lower: only the set description of a card. A good tarot reader must remember that every notion is dual and will have an opposite attached to it. If you say “No, you cannot do it.” Of course, they can do it.
If you say,”Yes, you can do it.” Of course, they can find a way of not doing it. Remember, the power lies inside you and tarot just points out to that power, the power of making a choice about your life. Tarot will yield you always the highest affirmative choice, but remember, it is just a choice. You are the creator of your destiny and it is totally in your hand how to sail your boat. The tarot is a profound instrument of self-knowledge and a representation of your soul. They can offer you an opportunity for self-realization, self-healing and self-empowerment only if you are willing to listen what they have to tell you.
Tarot can be the best friends and guides on your journey if you truly learn and fall in love with its mystical optic language.
